What is fit?

One of our founders, Dr. Peggy Hock, describes FIT as the most important thing we do for clients. It means we focus on "Finding an Institution where you will Thrive." FIT means students find, attend and graduate from an institution that meets their needs academically, socially and professionally. It's not about getting in, it's about the experience in college and graduating prepared for the next phase of your life.
Historically only 60% of students graduate from the college they first attend. What that means is FIT can save money by helping students start at colleges from which they will graduate. Our clients work with our services to provide insights, context and understand the importance of fit in their college exploration, applications and final choices. They work with highly skilled counselors who provide academic and extracurricular guidance, career exploration and comprehensive college counseling. Are you ready for FIT?

Peggy Hock has advised all four of our children on their college choice. Our children are all very different in their interests, abilities and strengths and weaknesses. The oldest has graduated and is working in tech. We fully embrace Peggy’s approach of making them high achievers by finding a college where they can succeed, and feel comfortable and yet challenged. That is not always the most selective place. So far, so good. As Peggy says, it is all about fit. Peggy was always most professional in her interactions with us.
