Athens Advisors and ADVNC Lacrosse today announced a collaboration agreement to offer college planning services to elite high school lacrosse athletes.

ADVNC Lacrosse, one of the west coast’s leading club lacrosse organizations, will expand its portfolio of services by offering college counseling and exclusive workshops for its members. The services delivered by Athens Advisors will supplement the existing ADVNC Lacrosse mentoring programs for athletes planning to play college-level lacrosse.
According to a four-year longitudinal study by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), one-on-one meetings with college planning counselors greatly affect students’ futures. Students are three times more likely to attend college and are twice as likely to attend a four-year college after meeting with trained counselors. Athens Advisors co-founder Joe Romano said, “There’s a lot of research indicating the importance of college admissions experts guiding students through the key stages of college planning. We are delighted to have ADVNC Lacrosse place their trust in us to work with their athletes and their families as they navigate this process.”

Chris Rotelli, the Founder & CEO of ADVNC Lacrosse says, “One of the core missions of ADVNC Lacrosse is helping our players navigate their college selection process.   Athens Advisors shares our core mission in this regard.  Whether they play lacrosse at the college level or not, we assist their college search in every possible way.  On top of that, Athens Advisors has two founders who not only played and coached college lacrosse, but currently coach with ADVNC Lacrosse, making this a natural fit.  I believe our goals are aligned in the best interest of the players.”
